We did it! Incredibly proud of these wonderful TrYumphants who completed our 50mile @familiesontrack challenge! Initially they were asked to do 6 laps each per session in December but they had to contend with covid absences and one less day to meet our target than we originally planned. But everyone stepped up amazingly well. Special shout out to Penny and Pippa for their 25 lap joint record (closely followed by Edward on 21). The 'reindeers' also bolstered our total nicely! My heart sang watching all the effort they put in. Definitely some budding @paula_radcliffes in there!

And of course, it's all in support of an incredible cause: to help raise funds for @shoe4africa to build Sub-Saharan Africa's first children's cancer hospital. If you'd like to donate, please click here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/thursday-tryumphants. A huge thanks in advance from the all TrYumphants. And a big thanks from me to my wonderful coaches @j_thomasgreaves and @michaeladick_ who helped make the challenge such fun!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hi all! I hope you're well and being 'stronger than your excuses' as the more challenging weather starts to hit!

I'm just sharing with you my Christmas Calorie Damage Limitation Guide: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5c1uj0n3w8dfw8/Christmas%20Calorie%20Damage%20Limitation.pdf?dl=0
It contains tips on:
- How to navigate parties (inc which drinks have least calories)
- Simple swaps on Christmas Day (that could save you 1000s of calories)
- Recipes for healthy canapes.

It's not all about calories, but the nature of the calories and the effect that they have on your hormones. Wherever possible avoid really sweet treats (once you wean yourself off them you won't want them anyway) and highly processed foods as they stimulate hunger and prevent you from burning fat.

It's all about being different, not deprived. Small tweaks, especially at this time of year, will send a strong message to your subconscious about the healthier person you are (becoming?!)...

You've jolly well got this!

Have a really fantastic festive season. Our clubs will run for the duration if you want to be extra, extra good!
